Their “Be a Local Hero” bumper stickers and labels are a familiar sight in the Valley, but the campaign has also attracted national attention as it is the longest-running agricultural buy-local campaign in the country. 2016 Reality Fair CrowdAnother Successful Reality Fair!

In March, for the third year in a row, UMassFive and Greenfield Community College (GCC) held successful “Reality Fair” events for area graduating high school seniors. At a Reality Fair, students select a career and, then, given an average salary they might receive at age 25 in that field, are tasked with making important spending and savings decisions. They visit booths where they select housing and transportation choices, their food budget, clothing choices, and more. Read More
