We're Sponsoring Two Great Causes This Year
Though COVID-19 has cancelled in-person events on a global scale, the need for funding for critical research and community organizations remains.
At UMassFive, we’ve always been deeply involved with the UMass Medicine Cancer Walk & Run. This year, opening our craft boutique to help raise funds for cancer research and walking or running at the event in Worcester will be greatly missed by all who participate year after year. That being said, Team UMassFive is a “Star” sponsor for this year’s virtual event on September 13, and many of our staff are committed to taking their walk or 5k run to the streets around their homes to help “pick up the pace.”

While virtual events don’t quite feel the same, in this case, the virtual aspect offered us the flexibility to participate in a second event the same weekend as the Cancer Walk. Continuing our efforts in support of the Food Bank of Western MA, Team UMassFive has joined Will Bike 4 Food as a Copper Sponsor for the first time!
Eleven of our staff have personally committed to completing the ride this September to raise funds to help fight hunger in our communities.
