Will Bike 4 Food
UMassFive will again be participating in the Food Bank of Western Massachusetts’ Will Bike 4 Food. Many of our staff and members have personally committed to complete this ride to raise funds to fight hunger in our communities. This in-person event takes place on Sunday, September 26, 2021. The live event will include specific leave times and routes for 100 mile, 50 mile, 25 mile, and 10 mile rides.

Team UMassFive has also been participating in the UMass Cancer Walk and Run event based at UMass Medical School in Worcester for over 20 years, raising over $140,000 during that time. The funds raised are directly donated to the UMass Cancer Center in Worcester. The total proceeds from the annual Cancer Walk account for a third of the funds allocated to clinical trials and research. For many years, Team UMassFive has been a top, award-winning fundraising team thanks to the creativity of our employees in raising funds. Besides asking friends and family for support, our employees have held raffles, art sales, and internal bake sales in our branch locations to support their efforts. This year’s event takes place on the morning of Sunday, October 17, 2021 at Polar Park, in Worcester.
