It's A Money Thing

Who said financial education has to be serious or boring?

It's a Money Thing

UMassFive is excited to introduce our membership to “It’s a Money Thing,” a library of free financial education content designed to engage young adults, millennials, and their parents alike.

Topics covered include budgeting, credit, debt repayment, student loans, saving for retirement, buying a car, home ownership, and identity theft.

Each topic presents a brief video featuring main character Jen on her journey to understand everything there is to know about money. Entertaining while educating, the videos present sophisticated financial concepts in a simple, memorable way that works well for visual learners. In addition to a video, each topic has an article that explores the topic more in-depth, appealing to linguistic learners, too.
