Karla Roman

was nominated and selected by her co-workers to be this edition's SMART employee.

Karla has been with the Credit Union for just over six years, having started in October 2012. She began her UMassFive career in a Floater position before transitioning over to Call Center Representative in February 2014, where she continues to provide outstanding service to both members and colleagues.

Karla is knowledgeable, helpful, and willing to assist co-workers with answers based on her vast experience at the Contact Center. She is motivated to help members, giving the best advice and readily answering in a clear, concise manner any questions that members have. Karla has played a major role in training new employees in the Contact Center for several years. Her vast knowledge about Credit Union policies and procedures is part of this role. She is always willing to share her knowledge with not only the Contact Center employees but also with other departments and branches as well.
